Every year, it's the same story. Well, no, it's precisely the opposite! This Friday, June 6, starting at 6 p.m. in Gustavia's Anglican Church, students from the Alcide Terrac School of Music in Colombier will be giving their annual end-of-year concert. With, needless to say, a special theme to the event. In this case, the aim is to energize the audience with a "Peace and Love" repertoire. "As a bonus, the lyrics of the songs will be shared with the audience," warns the Saint-Barth Harmony association, which is responsible for the school.
A dress rehearsal took place on Wednesday June 4, in the bustle that befits the eve of a concert. The Saint-Barth Harmony association has nearly a hundred members, including children, teenagers and adults. Not forgetting the teachers who give lessons throughout the year (including courses and private lessons). Seven musicians are on hand to teach and perfect these skills: Mona-Lise Dolle (violin, vocals and vocal techniques), Michaël Parisot (piano, vocals and choir), François Leroy (acoustic and electric guitar), Quentin Berge (cello), Julien Séguret (percussion, drums), Adrien Gaume Béchet (brass) and Alexandre Riou (vocals and vocal techniques).
Admission to the Anglican Church is free for this Friday's concert. It should last around 1h30. Including, of course, time at the intermission bar.
