The draft amendment to the Environment Code under consultation

In a press release dated November 10, the President of the Collectivité territoriale, Xavier Lédée, stated "the Collectivité's intention to approve the draft amendment to the Environment Code". To enable the public to consult the elements of the dossier, they will be made available to the public, in paper format, at the reception desk of the Hôtel de la Collectivité from Monday November 24 (8 a.m.) to Thursday December 11 (5 p.m.). A member of staff will be on hand on Wednesday November 26 and Monday December 8 from 8am to 12pm.
The file made available to the public includes the following documents:
- The presentation report on the project to amend the Environmental Code of Saint-Barthélemy (report n°1 - thematic section)
- The draft resolution of the Territorial Council adopting the amendment to the Environmental Code of Saint-Barthélemy (thematic section)
- Appendix: draft amended Environmental Code of Saint-Barthélemy and its appendices (thematic section)
- Presentation report on the draft amendment to the Environmental Code for Saint-Barthélemy (report no. 2 - criminal section)
- The draft resolution of the Territorial Council adopting the amendment to the Environmental Code of Saint-Barthélemy (criminal section)
- Appendix: Penal and criminal procedure provisions
All these documents will also be available for consultation on the Collectivité's website. During this period, members of the public will be able to submit comments by handing in a letter to the President's secretariat against receipt, or by sending a letter by registered mail (LRAR) to the following address: For the attention of the President of the Conseil territorial, Service de l'environnement, information code de l'environnement, 4 rue de Piteå, Gustavia BP 113, 97088 Saint-Barthélemy cédex.
