The Guadeloupe Academic Region’s Office of the Superintendent has officially announced the appointment of Nicole Noilhetas as vice superintendent for Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy. She succeeds Harry Christophe, who has held the position for three years, and will take office on July 1.
Currently serving as deputy academic director to the vice-rector of New Caledonia, Nicole Noilhetas “has extensive experience in steering educational policies in territories facing specific challenges, particularly overseas territories,” the Regional Education Authority notes. Throughout her career, she has held various academic leadership roles in the areas of team management, labor relations, human resources management, combating school dropout rates, and overseeing educational programs.
After serving as a National Education Inspector in economics and management for twelve years, Nicole Noilhetas then spent four years as an advisor to the Rector of Corsica in her capacity as academic delegate for technical education. She continued her career as deputy academic director of the National Education services in Puy-de-Dôme for three years, before moving to New Caledonia, where she successively served as Academy Inspector and Regional Pedagogical Inspector for Schools and Student Life (IA-IPR EVS) for one year, and then as Deputy Academic Director to the Vice-Rector for three years.
