Cem welcomes Fedom president

On Wednesday September 10, the Chambre économique multiprofessionnelle (Cem) welcomed Hervé Mariton, President of the Fédération des entreprises d'Outre-mer (Fedom). A number of important issues were raised, such as the fact that the Lodeom scheme enables private employers to benefit from specific tax exemptions.specific exemptions from employers' social security contributions (sickness, maternity, disability, death, old age, family allowances). Public companies, public industrial or commercial establishments and individual employers are excluded from the scheme.
In addition, occupational accidents and illnesses remain subject to contributions. "Three exemption scales are applicable to Saint-Barthélemy, provided that social security and tax obligations are up to date, and that contributions are correctly declared in the DSN using the specific CTP codes", emphasized Cem.
A meeting between Hervé Mariton and the President of the Collectivité, Xavier Lédée, took place on Thursday September 11.
