Since the Sidem buffer tank ruptured on Saturday, June 13, the island of Saint Barthélemy has been experiencing a widespread disruption in the production and distribution of drinking water. Many residents whose homes do not have a water tank are directly affected by the shortage, as are businesses. This is particularly true for restaurant owners. Therefore, in an online announcement, the Multiprofessional Economic Chamber “invites all restaurant owners in Saint-Barthélemy whose businesses are threatened by this situation to contact the restaurant owners’ association.” They can do so by emailing the association (assorestosbh@gmail.com) or by contacting Philippe Kin at the CEM (0590271255).
