"Summer Dance" is back. Throughout July and August, the Ajoe dance section is offering workshops for children and adults. In July, workshops will be led by professional dancers, while Cécile Coudreau, president of Ajoe, will offer her “Summer Pilates” classes throughout the summer break.
Summer Pilates
Starting Monday, July 6, and running through the end of August, “Summer Pilates” sessions with Cécile Coudreau will take place as follows: at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at 6:00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.

Hip Hop with Pouss’One
From Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Franck Settier, known as Pouss’One, will lead a week-long hip-hop and breakdancing workshop for children ages seven and up. The dancer, choreographer, actor, and teacher promises energy and creativity. Cost: 25 euros per session, 100 euros for all five.
Julie Bagal: Grace in High Heels
From July 13 to 16, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., dancer and choreographer Julie Bagal will offer “heels” classes—dancing in high heels. “Well-known in the ‘heels’ community, she’s visiting the island for the first time,” explains Cécile Coudreau, president of Ajoe. “She’ll then head to Saint Martin and Guadeloupe.” ” A lover of Caribbean music, the dancer will invite participants to immerse themselves in a world of grace, elegance, and femininity.
Prices: 15 euros per session and 40 euros for all three.
Anthony Despras Returns to Saint Barth
After his first visit to Saint-Barth for the 2025 edition of “Summer Dance,” renowned dancer Anthony Despras will return to the island to lead dynamic modern jazz sessions open to everyone. From July 23 to 30, he will welcome the island’s dancers to the Lorient dance studio or, if attendance is as high as last year, the sessions will take place on the Ajoe plateau.
Prices: 15 euros per session, 40 euros for three days, 65 euros for five days.
