Chief Warrant Officer Bernard Gendrey, Sergeant Vincent Gaffiot and Sapper Erika Aubin flew back to France on Saturday June 28. On Monday July 14, these three volunteer firefighters will have the great honor of representing Saint-Barthélemy's Service territorial d'incendie et de secours (Stis) in the parade on the Champs-Élysées. They have been selected to join the French Fire Brigade Battalion, which this year will be made up entirely of firefighters from overseas.
