Five contestants from Saint Martin and three from Saint Barthélemy will compete for the title of Miss Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy, which has been held by Sasha Bique since 2024. The contestants are between the ages of 20 and 29. Here is an introduction to them, illustrated with photographs from the Miss Saint-Martin/Saint-Barthélemy Committee, taken by Souleyman Studio.

Voting Procedure
The public can already vote for their favorite contestant by phone. The Committee’s instructions are as follows: To vote from a French West Indies and French Guiana mobile number (0690, 0694, 0696): text QUEEN + the contestant’s number to 97000. Cost: €0.99 + the price of the text message. To vote from a mainland France mobile number (06, 07): text QUEEN + the candidate’s number to 71071. Cost: 0.75 € + the price of the text message, then 0.99 € + the price of the text message starting July 1, 2026. Some carriers block premium-rate numbers; in this case, use a prepaid card. Your vote is only valid if you receive a confirmation text message.
Darina, Vanille, and Samantha, the representatives from St. Barthélemy
All smiles, they check in for their ferry to Saint Martin. Vanille Bonneau, Darina, and Samantha Laurent are setting sail for the next stage of preparations for the 2027 Miss Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy pageant. The three young women will represent Saint-Barth at the pageant. This type of competition is nothing new for the first two.
In 2024, Darina was crowned Miss Bassin d’Arcachon. As for Vanille, she competed in the Miss Côte d’Azur pageant in 2021. “I have very fond memories of the people I met and the good times I shared with the girls,” says the 26-year-old contestant, adding, “Participating in the pageant this year is a way for me to try to accept myself and learn more about who I am.”
Darina also has fond memories of her first experience. “When I’m on stage, I’m more spontaneous; I can just be myself without worrying about what others think,” smiles the 22-year-old. “I love the adrenaline rush you get when you’re on stage.”
For Samantha, 29, participating in the Miss Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy pageant is a challenge. “I gave birth to twins eight months ago,” she says. “The pageant is an opportunity to regain my self-confidence. I’ve lost twelve kilos since I signed up!” And like her younger sister Darina, she’s also tried her hand at a beauty pageant. “When I was younger,” she says with a laugh.
