The year 2026 marks the 400th anniversary of the French Navy. This milestone is the occasion for numerous events across mainland France and in the overseas territories. As part of these celebrations, middle school students from Saint Martin were able to participate in the festivities on Monday, June 1, during a commemorative and educational visit to the Port of Galisbay. Accompanied by Prefect Cyrille le Vely and Representative Frantz Gumbs, the students were able to board the overseas support and assistance vessel Dumont d’Urville. (Photo: Prefecture)
