STIS Opens Its Doors

Adults and children are invited to visit the fire station of the Territorial Fire and Rescue Service (STIS) this Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This community event is organized by the Territorial Union of Firefighters (UTSP). The program includes first aid demonstration workshops, an obstacle course for adults and children, an introduction to fire extinguishing techniques using a fire extinguisher, as well as demonstrations by the USAR team (Rescue, Support, and Search Unit). The gendarmerie, local police, Red Cross, SNSM, and civil defense will also contribute to the success of this open house.
Various activities will be available for younger children, including a bouncy castle, a face-painting workshop, and more. For adults, a refreshment stand will be run by firefighters from the UTSP. Finally, DJ Vince will provide musical entertainment throughout the day. Needless to say, admission is free and open to everyone.
