Handi-Color: First sign-ups at the Super U yard sale

This Sunday, March 15, the Handi-Relais association will be at the yard sale held at the Super U in Saint-Jean, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Throughout the morning, the organization’s volunteers will be taking registrations for Handi-Color. The association’s main event—a friendly, festive, inclusive, and, of course, colorful walk—is scheduled for Sunday, April 12. For those wishing to participate in this event, additional registration dates will be announced. Don’t wait too long, because following the success of the 2025 event, registration will be limited to 600 participants. For a fee of ten euros, registrants will receive a pair of colored sunglasses and a packet of colored powder. This powder can then be scattered by walkers, pushchair users, and runners wearing white T-shirts along the six-kilometer route, which will take them from the Saint-Jean stadium to Gustavia (after a loop around the Saint-Jean pond and a stop at La Tourmente) before returning to the stadium for breakfast.
Meanwhile, kind-hearted individuals wishing to assist Handi-Relais volunteers in organizing the walk can reach out through the association’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram).
It should be noted that healthcare professionals and Handi-Relais volunteers provide year-round assistance and support to people in Saint-Barthélemy who have a disability.
