Le Président de la Collectivité de Saint-Martin, Louis Mussington, s’est entretenu ce mardi 4 novembre avec M. Ary Chalus, Président de la Région Guadeloupe, afin de poursuivre la réflexion sur l’avenir de la compagnie aérienne régionale Air Antilles.

Air Antilles: a meeting in Guadeloupe to discuss the airline's future

The President of the Collectivité de Saint-Martin, Louis Mussington, announced that he had held talks with the President of the Guadeloupe Region, Ary Chalus, and the President of the Guadeloupe Departmental Council, Guy Losbar, in a press release dated Tuesday November 4.
On the agenda for the meeting: the future of Air Antilles and how to guarantee it. "These discussions are part of a shared determination to ensure the future of a company that is essential to the connectivity of our territories," writes Louis Mussington.
The President of Saint-Martin goes on to explain that the immediate objective is to safeguard Air Antilles in the short term, but that in the long term, he wishes to " to encourage the creation of a Caribbean entity capable of carrying a regional airline, with the entry of partners in the capital. "The three politicians pledged to explore all possible solutions to ensure the survival of the service. This meeting comes just a few weeks after the Collectivité de Saint-Martin approved a new loan of 3 million euros to Air Antilles at the territorial council meeting.
