After a day of inactivity due to deteriorating weather conditions caused by storm Ernesto, air and sea transport on Saint-Barthélemy is gradually resuming on Wednesday August 14. The airport reopened at 7 a.m. this morning, and the airlines are one by one resuming their rotations. As for the port of Gustavia, the two ferry companies operating between Saint-Barth and Saint-Martin will also be resuming their usual schedules. But not until tomorrow, Thursday. Today, the Great Bay Express will depart from Philipsburg (Sint Maarten) at 5.30pm, then Gustavia at 6.45pm. As for Voyager, the first departure will be from Marigot (Saint-Martin) at 4pm and from Gustavia at 5:30pm. Both airlines are announcing the return of all their regular rotations as of tomorrow.
