New Year's Eve in Saint-Barthélemy harbor is the busiest day of the year on December 31. In 2024, a new record was set. It fell this Wednesday, December 31, 2025, announced the Director of Maritime and Port Affairs, Ernest Brin.
At 3pm, 342 passing boats were counted in the port area. This compares with 313 on December 31, 2024. 12 vessels are over one hundred meters long. These megayachts are the Dragon Fly (142.15 m), the Rising Sun (138 m), theKismet (122 m), the Ahpo (115 m),the Renaissance (112 m),the Kaos (110 m), the Bravo Eugenia (109 m), theIJE (108 m), Ulysses (102.60 m), Moonrise (100 m), Koru (125 m) and Black Pearl (105 m).
These giants are joined by 28 ships measuring between 75 and 99 meters, 33 between 60 and 74 meters, 59 between 45 and 59 meters, and 57 between 30 and 44 meters.

53 yacht parties
Of the 342 boats passing through, the port registered 3,384 crew and 1,810 passengers. A total of 5,194 people. The port management underlines the fact that 53 additional evening events with guests are planned on board these yachts, representing some 2,000 additional passengers on board.
It should be noted that, in addition to visiting vessels, the Saint-Barthélemy port area will have 162 year-round inhabited vessels in 2025 (compared with 137 in 2024). Consequently, as of Wednesday December 31, the port and its territorial waters are home to 504 boats. A record number.
Arrivals and departures
From an administrative point of view, over the past four days, port authorities have recorded :
- 54 declarations of port entries on 28/12 and 23 exits
- 108 declarations of port entries on 12/29 and 18 exits
- 106 declarations of port entries on 30/12 and 36 departures
- 35 declarations of port entries on 31/12 and 17 departures
