Saint-Barth - Lolie Osswald

Sailing - Lolie Osswald continues her apprenticeship at the Europa Cup

In Imperia, Italy, Lolie Osswald represented France between March 13 and 16. At this competition, which brought together under-21s, under-19s and Open sailors, Lolie Osswald came 24th (out of 63 participants) in the Ilca6 class. A result which did not satisfy the resident of the Pôle Espoir in La Rochelle. "I'm very disappointed with my result, because we only sailed for two days instead of four, in horrible conditions," says the 16-year-old, before putting things into perspective. "What I've learnt from this competition is that you have to be patient and never give up. And even if it's not a good result, you always learn. "
To continue traveling from competition to competition, Lolie is looking for financial support (JSB 1607). A kitty has been opened online on Leetchi ("Cagnotte projet voile Lolie Osswald"). This year, I'm lucky enough to be taking part in prestigious competitions such as the French and European championships, but to keep progressing, I need a financial boost," stresses the young champion. Between equipment, travel and registrations, the costs are very high and without help, it will be difficult for me to continue this wonderful adventure. Every donation, no matter how small, helps me get closer to my dream. "So far, the kitty has reached one thousand euros.
