Organized by St. Barth Triathlon, the third swimming relay race—featuring an “Australian-style” start—will kick off on Sunday, October 26, on Saint-Jean Beach. In honor of Pink October, the association is partnering with the League Against Cancer, with €5 from each registration donated to support cancer research.
Teams will consist of four people: a captain (a fast swimmer) will be paired with three teammates selected by random draw before the event, creating friendly teams. Each swimmer must cover 400 meters in the bay and, after a short run, pass the baton (to be repeated twice). The goal? To have fun!
The top three teams will be awarded prizes at the end of the event. A friendly breakfast will be generously provided to competitors and volunteers by our partner, the Eden Rock Hotel. The race is open to members of the French Triathlon Federation (FFTRI) and to non-members, who may register provided they purchase an “Experience Pass” available through the FFTRI Guadeloupe League portal (price: €4).
Registration is available online or on the SBH Triathlon Facebook page. Please note that space is limited.
