A winning first match for the AJOE U15s

On Sunday February 16, Ajoe's U15 soccer section played its first match on the Saint-Jean stadium pitch. The young footballers from Saint-Barth took on the RISC Takers FC team from Sint-Marteen. In the first half, the team coached by Mickaël Lacome managed to score 3 times from corners (2 goals from Leonardo and 1 from Aubin). "Both teams played well, despite the sweltering heat at the end of the first half", explains Alan Dagorn, head of the Ajoe soccer school. After the break, the visitors were awarded a penalty, which gave them a point. The score remained level despite several chances for the Ajoe players. The match ended 3-1 in favor of the Saint-Barth footballers. "It's a very good result for the first game of the year, and a good sign of things to come for the group," enthuses Alan Dagorn.
