Triathlon - Jean Marc Outil qualifies for world championships 70.3

At the start of the Indian Wells 70.3 in California on Sunday, December 8, two triathletes from St Barth Triathlon, Jean-Marc Outil and Jessica Pearson. For the 2.251 athletes, the competition began at dawn with a 1.9-kilometer swim in the clear waters of Lake Cahuilla, starting from a sandy beach.a 90-kilometer bike course on a unique, fast and flat circuit, and ended with a 21-kilometer run on the golf paths and roads of the Silver Rock Golf Resort.
With a time of 4h52minutes and 52 seconds, Jean-Marc Outil crossed the finish line, winning a magnificent bronze medal in his category (M55-59) and thus securing his ticket to the 70.3 World Championships to be held on November 8, 2025 in Marbella, Spain.
Jessica Pearson finished the event in 6 hours 19 minutes 18 seconds. She came 13th in her category (F45-49).
