Transat Paprec: registration now open for the 17th edition

The start of the 17th edition of the transatlantic double-handed sailing race will be from Concarneau on April 20, 2025. Registration is now open for this legendary race, in which crews will aim to reach Saint-Barthélemy in their Figaro Beneteau as quickly as possible. An "early bird" rate is offered to competitors registering before September 23, say the organizers. The deadline for applications to benefit from the preferential rates is December 31, 2024. For the record, the crossing record was set in 2021 by Nils Palmieri and Julien Villion on TeamWork in 18 days, 5 hours, 8 minutes and 3 seconds. In 2023, skippers Charlotte Yven and Lois Berrehar won the race on Skipper Macif in 18 days, 19 hours, 1 minute and 33 seconds.
