Archery - Kaylee Magras and Himani Rabreau set their sights on the French championship

Accompanied by their master archer, Manuel Georges, two young female shooters from Saint-Barthélemy took part in the French Ufolep archery championships on Sunday June 8: Kaylee Magras and Himani Rabreau. The competition took place in Smarves, near Poitiers (Vienne), France. Nearly 450 archers from all over France took part in the championship, competing in different categories: classical bow, compound bow, with or without sights, and by age group. This was the 39th national championship. Himani Rabreau finished in 13th place in the 11/12 year-old women's category without sight, and Kaylee Magras in 15th place 13/14 years old in the women's category with sight. "This is an excellent result for a first participation in a national championship," commented Manuel Georges.
