Tennis: Mahé and Léo bring glory to Ascco in Martinique

Although they are still young, Mahé Anasthase (8) and Léo Haouzi (10) are racking up victories under the Ascco banner. During a recent trip to Martinique, the two young pupils of Grégory Gumbs successfully competed in several competitions in their age category. Mahé won his first tournament before coming second in the second. "He continues to dominate his category and is even starting to make his mark in the higher categories by beating older and higher-ranked players," says Ludovic Questel, president of Ascco. As for Léo, he took second and third place in the two tournaments he competed in. "It was a great sporting experience for these two promising players from the Ascco club, who were able to face new opponents, discover a different competitive environment, and gain maturity on the court," said the club, which is very proud of its two young representatives.
