Tennis - SBTC rack up the wins

With the Saint-Barth Tennis Club women's team having already won their matches, the two men's teams had to follow suit. Last Saturday, December 14, Team 1 travelled to Guadeloupe to take on players from the Le Moule club. The trip was crowned with success, with three victories in four singles matches (including a "perf" from Frédéric Gastaldi at 15/4) and two in doubles. Other matches awaited the SBTC representatives on Sunday, against Tie Break. However, rain disrupted the schedule and the matches were postponed until January 18, to be played on the Plaine des Jeux courts in Saint-Jean.
At the same time, still on Saturday December 14th, Team 2 played host to Guadeloupe's ATP players in Saint-Barth. Once again, the SBTC representatives came out on top, this time by four wins to two. Jean-Mathieu Sablier beat a player ranked 15/5, while François Carbonel came out on top at 30/1.
The ladies' and gents' championships resume in January.
