Tennis - The "Kids' Trophy" Reaches Its 17th Edition

From April 6 to 11, the Saint-Barth Tennis Club hosted the 17th edition of its “Kid’s Trophy.” The tournament brought together young players from the island (SBTC, Ascco), Saint Martin, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, and… Bordeaux. The club’s sports director, Yves Lacoste, described the event as “a tremendous success.” Indeed, the twenty participants and their families took part in a spirit that blended competition, camaraderie, and a sense of community. For this edition, the SBTC offered four categories in a TMC (multi-chance tournament) format: Green Team, Green Individual, 11–14 Team, and 11–14 Individual. “Beyond the sporting aspect, this tournament fosters interaction between coaches and children from different delegations and helps build lasting bonds,” notes Yves Lacoste, who is sure to thank the sponsors and volunteers “who provide invaluable support.”
