"Team SBH-BMW" Wins the Diam 24 Caribbean World Tour

Seventeen crews, including two boats from Saint Barth, participated in the 2025–26 Diam 24 Caribbean World Tour. The championship, consisting of six exciting and highly competitive races (Grand Case GP, Course d’Alliance, CMC, Heineken Regatta, Friars Bay GP, and Karibuni GP), takes place from November through May in the waters off Saint Martin. After finishing third in the 2024 edition, the trimaran “Team SBH-BMW” took first place with a crew of sailing enthusiasts on board: Markku Härmälä, helmsman and skipper; David Guiheneux, mainsail trimmer and tactician; and Eric Lavergeur, spinnaker trimmer and strategist. First place ahead of the second boat from Saint Barth, “KIC / B Family.”
