Last week, Tessa Thyssen received the news of her qualification for the Challenger Series Tour 2025. Mainly thanks to her ranking last season, when she finished in 13th place. I'm reassured and very happy," says the champion. I feel I belong, I feel I deserve to be on this Tour, and then I can aim higher and further ahead. Because my main objective is to qualify for the CT (Championship Tour, the top international division, editor's note). But you also have to know how to celebrate small successes! "For the time being, Tessa is in France to prepare for her season. "I'm training in cold water, to be at my best", she confides. Her competitive season starts at the end of May, in Australia. A trip she couldn't make without the unfailing support of her sponsors, Saint-Barth Assurances and Eden Rock. They've been with me from the start and they're always with me," says the Caribbean's top surfer. I'm happy to be able to count on their help. "Even if Tessa is still looking for other financial support to continue pursuing her dreams. Without them, it will be difficult for her to achieve her ultimate goal: qualifying for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles (USA).
