Surfing - Medals and performances at the Ti-Moun Tour

Gold, silver, bronze and, above all, enthusiasm and great performances. Last weekend, a delegation of thirteen young surfers from the Ajoe Reefer Surf Club travelled to Guadeloupe to take part in the final leg of the Ti-Moun Tour. A competition that brought together all the region's best hopefuls. "All the kids outdid themselves, whether it was their first experience of competition or to go for places in the finals," sums up an enthusiastic David Blanchard, President of Ajoe Reefer Surf Club, who adds: "The weekend was rich in emotions, learning, and memorable souvenirs. "Not to mention the excellent results. In particular, June Bitoque-Marmignon won the gold medal in the Pupil category (6-7 years). As for her classmate Mathilda Panverne-Magras, she won two medals in the benjamine category: a silver in shortboard and a bronze in bodyboard. But the two champions weren't the only ones to make the club shine.
Rahan Bosc reached the semi-final in the Juvenile category. "Impressive for a first! "commented David Blanchard. Gabin Mozer finished 4th in the finals after the repechages (Poussinets), Kezia Tayale reached the quarter-finals (2 laps won, benjamin), Eden Renout finished 4th in the finals (Ondine benjamin), Artus Chuinard reached the quarter-finals in the Poussins and in the boys' bodyboard. "And all the others proudly defended the club's colors", assures the president of Ajoe Reefer Surf Club. Like Elliot Roblin, Gabriel Gardete, Adrien Querrard, Lune Renout and Adrian Laplace.
Once again, these performances show that Saint-Barthélemy has a large pool of champions. With the added advantage of being able to rely on the club's educators and committed parents who don't hesitate, as they did last weekend in Guadeloupe, to accompany the young surfers on their travels.
