Surfing - After Cornwall, the St Barths head for Galicia

From August 6 to 10, Noé and Thomas Lédée took part in the Boardmasters Open, part of the World Surfing League's Qualifying Series at Fistral Beach, Cornwall, England. Anaïs Blanchard also took part in the event. Saint-Barthélemy's most successful representative was Noé Lédée, who reached the quarter-finals. This fine performance was highlighted by a round of 16 in which Noé and his brother Thomas went head-to-head, along with France's Sam Piter and Spain's Conor Donegan Santos. In the ladies' category, Anaïs Blanchard made it through her first series, but was unfortunately eliminated in the round of 16.

For Anaïs, Noé and Thomas, the next stop is Pantin, in Galicia (Spain), where the Abanca Pantin Classic will take place from August 26 to 31.
