Surfing: Anaïs Blanchard Finishes 5th at the Roxy Pro in Cape Breton

Although her training to earn her Professional Certificate in Youth, Community Education, and Sports (BPJEPS) will prevent her from competing in the Qualifying Series events this summer, Anaïs Blanchard was keen to point out that she should not be forgotten on the professional surfing circuit. In fact, in early July in Cap Breton, during a stop on the pro junior circuit, the Ajoe Reefer Surf Club member took fifth place in the overall standings at the Roxy Pro. It was a strong performance in familiar surroundings that also allowed the champion to enjoy some time with friends.
