In 2025, Stella released her EP titled *Transition*. Since then, the multi-talented artist’s songs have been making their way onto various music and video streaming platforms, where you can watch her “music videos.” Better yet, last July, her track “Eau de Coco” had the honor of being added to the Trace Vanilla catalog—a development that deeply moved the singer. “The release of ‘Eau de Coco’ on Trace Vanilla has a very special meaning for me,” the artist says. “Since Trace Vanilla is dedicated to the Indian Ocean, seeing my song reach that part of the world feels very symbolic. I’m originally from the Caribbean, but I also have roots in the Indian Ocean. My journey has also taken shape in Paris, which has become for me a true meeting point between these different regions and cultures.”
In August, Stella visited Trace’s offices. There, she met the teams and shared a musical moment with them—an acoustic, a cappella performance. “It was a beautiful way to extend the reach of this release and give a more human dimension to this adventure,” she says.
“Eau de Coco” is the lead single from her debut EP, *Transition*. Comprising five tracks, it blends pop, French variété, and soul. “It’s a sound shaped by my island roots, cultural fusion, and the diverse cultures that have shaped me,” Stella emphasizes. The music video for “Eau de Coco” (available online on YouTube) was directed by Jima Kanor. Since its release, the song has continued to gain traction through live performances, stage appearances, and airplay. “I’ve received wonderful feedback about the airplay, especially messages from people who discovered or rediscovered the song thanks to Trace,” Stella says happily. “For an independent artist, seeing a song you’ve written and performed take on a life of its own is incredibly encouraging.”
As always, Stella will let herself be carried wherever the wind takes her—always driven by the same desire to let her artistic spirit shine through.
