Saint-Barth - Bucket 2026

St. Barth Bucket 2026 - Four days of racing

When the St Barth Bucket 2026 (March 12-15) gets underway, it will feature an additional day of racing, open to all boats in the fleet. As the organizers explain, "this Thursday race will be an optional and independent race, which will not be part of the three-day Bucket series. The trade winds have been a little less reliable in recent years, and eager to compete in more races, participants have requested a fourth day. Based on feedback from participating yacht owners, we will consider a 2027 edition with four days of racing."
This prestigious regatta for sailboats over 100 feet, as well as a new 90-foot class, continues until Sunday, March 15. At the end of February, the fleet numbered 41 boats, including three "social" entries that are not participating in the race. The others are divided into sub-categories: the 100-foot class, the 90-foot class, and the Corinthian Spirit class, which offers yacht owners an alternative to conventional ORCsy races. The regattas will start off Shell Beach, with staggered starts in the late morning and early afternoon, allowing the yachts to finish together at the end of the course.
Competition on the water, parties on the shore. The Bucket village, set up on the quays of honor, will host free concerts open to all. Musical entertainment will be provided from 7:30 p.m. by the group Zig Zag, the next day by the group Freedom from 8 p.m., and on Saturday evening by the group Casa Band from 8 p.m. As in previous years, the proceeds from the sale of posters at the Space Gallery will be donated to Femur (Emergency Fund for Medical Equipment) and the Saint Barth Yacht Club.
All of this contributes to making this regatta a world-class event.
