The qualifying tournament for the French mixed triples championship will take place this Saturday, March 7, at the Boulodrome Gambier in Saint-Jean. Eighteen teams will compete for the honor of representing Saint Barthélemy and Saint Martin in the French championships in mainland France. Three clubs will be competing this Saturday: Cariboule de Saint-Martin and Amicale Bouliste with five triples each, and Saint-Barth Pétanque with eight teams. It should be noted that seventeen of the eighteen triples registered are composed of two men and one woman. Only one team has two women and one man: Blandine Beunet, Émilie Lemai, and Vincent Dewez for Amicale Bouliste.
The first throw is scheduled for 10 a.m., under the watchful eye of referee Patrick Moret. Admission is free for spectators.
