Pétanque - A Wonderful Evening of Solidarity for Pink October

On Friday, October 16, the StBarth Pétanque Club came together for Pink October during a tournament marked by camaraderie, sharing, and, above all, solidarity.
“Much more than just a competition, this evening was an opportunity to come together around our shared passion, while supporting a cause that is particularly close to our hearts: the fight against cancer,” the club said.
Congratulations are in order for the top three finishers: Yves Arcana, Anthony Palombi, and Laurent Canivet.
All proceeds from the tournament were donated to cancer research. “A wonderful way to remind us that every action counts and that, together, we can help advance this vital cause,” emphasizes StBarth Pétanque, which thanks its sponsors and “their invaluable generosity ” (ETS Hippolyte Lédée, Pearl Beach Saint-Barth, Crêperie St Barth, Diamond Genesis, Segeco St Barth, Chef’s Market, La Cantine By Anse Caraibes, La Cave Du Port Franc, Le Cellier du Gouverneur).

The club also acknowledges its volunteers “who gave their time and energy to make this evening a success,” adding: “From preparation to organization, and from welcoming guests to fostering a friendly atmosphere, their commitment is essential to the life of our club.”
The players were thanked for their presence, generosity, and good spirits. “Beyond the sporting results, the greatest victory of the evening remains that of solidarity,” emphasizes StBarth Pétanque. “Because cancer affects us all, directly or indirectly, let’s continue to come together to support research and all those fighting the disease. Together, we are stronger!”
