With their sights set on qualifying for the French championship, twenty-three mixed doubles teams from the Northern Islands competed on Saturday, March 28, in Saint Martin. The delegation from Saint Barthélemy, which included eight pairs from the St Barth Pétanque club and four from the Amicale Bouliste, faced off against the eleven pairs from the Cariboule club. Reaching the final, the pair of Noémie Escamilla and Sonis Gréaux (St Barth Pétanque) lost to Agnès Viennot and Frédéric Minin (Cariboule). The latter will represent the Northern Islands at the French Mixed Doubles Championship on June 27–28 in Ajaccio (Corsica).
