Pétanque: The Cariboule triplet has earned a spot in the French National Championships

Cyrielle Frachebois, Guillaume Daviaud, and Thierry Fernandez. This is the lineup of the mixed triplet that won the qualifying tournament for the French championships in the sport. The competition took place on Saturday, March 7, at the Gambier Boulodrome in Saint-Jean. The winning team is affiliated with the Cariboule Club of Saint-Martin. They defeated the Saint-Barth Pétanque triplet consisting of Marie-Marcelle Laplace, Sébastien Masciocchi, and Yves Arcana. Eighteen mixed triplet teams competed in the tournament: five represented Cariboule, five the Amicale Bouliste de Saint-Barth, and eight Saint-Barth Pétanque.
The French Mixed Triples Championships will take place in Nice on July 18 and 19. Cyrielle Frachebois, Guillaume Daviaud, and Thierry Fernandez will represent Saint Martin, of course, but also Saint Barthélemy, since the two islands are united, for pétanque, within the Comité des Iles du Nord.
