The 2026 edition of the Saint-Barthélemy Championship brings two certainties. The first is the overwhelming dominance of FC Diables Rouges and FC Arawak. The Diables sit atop the standings following their victory over the Arawaks (4-3) on Saturday, April 11, while the Arawaks are hanging in there thanks to their nearly unstoppable offense. The second certainty is that one would have to be deeply bitter not to appreciate the spectacle provided each week on the field at Saint-Jean Stadium. If only because of the teams’ offensive productivity. Matchday 4, played on Saturday, April 18, was yet another perfect example of this.
Against AS Gustavia, the Red Devils didn’t hold back, winning 4-1. For its part, FC Arawak once again put on a goal-scoring display, thrashing ASPSB 5-1.
Matchday 5 of the championship will be played on Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6, both at 7:30 p.m. at the Saint-Jean Stadium. On Tuesday, FC Arawak will face AS Gustavia. In the first leg, the Arawaks won 4-2. On Wednesday, ASPSB will try to withstand the onslaught of the Red Devils, who crushed them 4-0 in the first leg. It’s a safe bet that the nets will rattle repeatedly on both Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6.
