Eight in a row for the Nikki Beach SwimRun

The sun will have barely risen this Sunday, April 19, when competitors line up at the starting line for the eighth edition of the Nikki Beach SwimRun. Forty teams, some of which have traveled from Saint Martin, will be competing in the event.
The race covers a total distance of 14.25 kilometers. The SwimRun, as its name suggests, combines swimming and running in pairs (male, female, or mixed). It consists of five running sections and four swimming sections.
The event must be swum and run in pairs, with no more than ten meters separating teammates.
As in 2025, the race will start on Flamands Beach with a first 400-meter running section on the sand. Then the 80 athletes will jump into the water and emerge at Petite Anse.
The second 3-km running section will take them to Corossol. There, at the pontoon, they will jump into the water for the swimming section, which will bring them out at the Public slide. They will then set off for a 2.5-km run between Public and the landing stage in front of the Collectivité hotel. Next comes the third swimming section, between the Collectivité esplanade and Shell Beach. After returning to land, a fourth 2.5-kilometer running section begins. The route heads toward the Calvary, the lighthouse, the Col de la Tourmente, and the Saint-Jean beach near the airport for the fourth and final swimming section.
Competitors will exit the water in front of Nikki Beach before setting off for the final kilometers on a loop through Saint-Jean. The finish line will be in front of Nikki Beach.
The awards ceremony (men’s, women’s, and mixed categories) will take place immediately afterward, around 9:45 a.m.
The forty teams are to meet in Saint-Jean, in front of Nikki Beach, at 4:45 a.m. After their equipment is checked, they will be transported to the starting line in Flamands. Good luck to everyone!
