Three gold, three silver and one bronze medal for children, and one gold, three silver and three bronze medals for adults. Such was the impressive haul that Saint-Barth Jujitsu licensees collected during a trip to Guadeloupe on the weekend of November 8 and 9, for the third edition of the Caribbean Open. A competition organized by the French Confederation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (CFJJB) at the Palais des Sports in Gosier.
Club president Edouard Malespine is proud of his flock. I congratulate all the club's children who took part in this competition and encourage them to continue," he declares. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the committee for their hard work and voluntary work. I'm thinking in particular of Nicolas and Chris (technical director and educator), who are much appreciated by the children. "The president also thanked the Collectivité territoriale's sports department for its financial support, as well as the sponsors who made it possible for the club's representatives to travel to Guadeloupe.
David Giorsetti, president of the CFJJB, was also in Guadeloupe to attend the competition.
