To enable the general public to come together to watch the events of the Paris Olympic Games, the Collectivité territoriale and Ajoe are going to open a space in which the event will be broadcast live. A "fan zone" will be set up on the Ajoe plateau in Lorient, and will be open to all free of charge. "Including accompanied minors", explains the local authority. Another site will be open to the public on Lorient beach to admire the athletes' performances on a giant screen. In addition, it goes without saying that entertainment will be offered throughout the three days during which these areas will be open.
Tomorrow, Wednesday July 31, an event will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. to mark the official opening of the "Village Club2024", on the Ajoe plateau. Then, from Thursday to Saturday inclusive, surfing and swimming activities will be offered from 9 to 12 on Lorient beach. From 4 to 10 p.m. on the Ajoe plateau, the Olympic events will be broadcast on a giant screen, while other activities will be open to all (table tennis, archery, pétanque, table soccer, relaxation area, video games, exhibition on the Olympics). All in partnership with the Comité territorial olympique et sportif (CTOS). The Saint-Barth Tennis Club will be offering free mini tennis activities on August 1 and 2 from 4 to 6 pm.
