Jiu-Jitsu - Nine volunteers earn federal instructor's certificate

At the end of October in Saint-Barthélemy, the first complete training course for the Caf (Certificat d'animateur fédéral bénévole) was held at the Saint-Jean dojo for the "Saint-Barth Jiu-Jitsu" club. CFJJB (Confédération Française de Jiu-Jitsu Brésilien) trainer Rémy Marcon led the entire course, introducing trainees to the teaching and assessment tools required for this diploma. The course covers a wide range of topics, from teaching and practice to hygiene rules and refereeing. The Caf diploma entitles the trainee to teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on a voluntary basis.
"The trainer congratulates the group, which includes some of the club's members, for their rigour and the quality of their performance," says Saint-Barth Jiu-Jitsu. The club would also like to thank its young graduates: Nicolas Harmange, Pablo Baez, Chris Van Gu, Sébastien Poyato, Rony Beal, Rui Mendes Araujo, Wally Lidji, Edouard Lambert and Charly Rondy.
