The “Saint Barth Open” Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition, organized by the Saint Barth Jujitsu club in mid-February, brought together about a hundred jiu-jitsu practitioners (adults and children) from Saint Martin (Sxm Bjj) as well as from Canada (Jiu-Jitsu Saguenay), Ireland (Studio Galera), and the United States (Fulcrum Jiu-Jitsu Academy), not to mention the local competitors from Saint Barth Jujitsu. “It was a wonderful day of competition focused on good spirits, camaraderie, and respect for the values of this highly technical martial art,” noted the organizers, who did not forget to thank their sponsors: the Collectivité de Saint-Barthélemy, Sibarth, Eden Rock, Super U, Air’Interiles by Saint Barth Executive, FBM, and Solutech.
