Chess - Michael Da Silva Pereira best young player in Saint-Martin

Last Sunday, the St-Martin Chess Club organized its first tournament. St-Barth Echecs member Michael Da Silva Pereira confirmed his good form since his 2nd place at the Academic Championship (JSB1604), finishing first out of the 12 youngsters entered and 6th overall with 4.5 points out of 7. This weekend, Michael Da Silva Pereira will be taking part in the youth blitz championship taking place this Saturday at the Capitainerie from 2pm, as well as another blitz tournament the following day in Saint-Martin.
