Course à pied - Le 4 Running secures the club's future

The 4Running Saint-Barth running club held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday September 25. Some fifteen members were in attendance. "We were delighted to ensure the club's continuity after the resignation of the entire of the board in 2024," says outgoing president Vincent Gaffiot, who points out that "the number of members has almost doubled". At the AGM, Didier Duzant was elected club president. At the same time, Annie Lise Finot retained her position as secretary, while Nolwenn Marie and Tom Rua took over from Yohann Lareido, who left the island. He was thanked for "his seriousness, kindness and availability". For club members, the next events on the island will be the Cross du Vent and the Gustavialoppet. But others will be venturing into new terrain. Two runners (Didier and Manon) will be taking part in the New York Marathon, Vincent Gaffiot in Curacao and Nicolas in Martinique.
4 Running's training sessions take place on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Saint-Jean stadium, and on Sunday mornings on the road. They are supervised by Didier Duzant or Thierry Maxor, sometimes both at the same time. Running enthusiasts can still join the club by contacting it via its Facebook page or Whatsapp group.
