St Bartholomew's Day petanque competition

On Saturday August 23, the Amicale bouliste de Saint-Barth (ABSB) is organizing a pétanque competition on the grounds of the Plaine des jeux de Saint-Jean to mark the feast of Saint-Barthélemy (which will take place on Sunday August 24). The competition is open to all, but limited to forty doublette teams.

Registrations can be made on site, by e-mail(absb97133@gmail.com) or by telephone (0690553993). Each player will have to pay ten euros to take part in the competition, which starts at 4.30pm, with the first boule thrown at 5pm.

The format will be simple: four ranking games followed by semi-finals and finals.

Meals will be served on site, and prizes will be up for grabs.
