Beach tennis - A great outing in Guadeloupe for the Karibbean youth

Four young players from Karibbean Beach Tennis in Saint Barthélemy competed on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, in the most important tournament of the year in the Caribbean for their age group. The BT250 took place in Le Moule, Guadeloupe, where the island’s representatives put in strong performances.
The delegation’s only girl, Charlie Guif, partnered with a player from Île-de-France, finished in second place in the under-18 singles draw. In women’s doubles—competing against older players—Charlie also shone. Teaming up with a player from Guadeloupe, she managed to secure 6th place.
On the boys’ side, Karibbean entered three players: Thomas Mangeant, Pedro Gomes Freitas, and Kyllian Dias Natario. In the under-18 division, the first (paired with a young player from Guadeloupe) finished in sixth place. As for Pedro Gomes Freitas and Kyllian Dias Natario, they climbed to fourth place. Also entered in the men’s draw, the two teammates finished in tenth place. With a different partner than in the under-18s, Thomas Mangeant finished in twelfth place.
A great showing for Guadeloupe’s up-and-coming Karibbean Beach Tennis players.
