96 matches were played over two days during the tournament organized last weekend in Saint-Jean by Karibbean Beach Tennis.
No fewer than 96 matches were played, involving nearly 70 players, a third of whom were under 18, and local victories were recorded. For Karibbean Beach Tennis, the major tournament held throughout last weekend (Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25) on the courts of the Saint-Jean sports complex was a success. This was due in particular to the excellent atmosphere both on and off the courts. "It was a very friendly atmosphere," said Julie Labrit, president of the club. "We had some great matches," she continued. "The level was very high from the quarterfinals in the mixed doubles and from the semifinals in the men's and women's singles."
Unsurprisingly, with her international experience, Julie Labrit won the women's BT 500 draw alongside Sophie Jeanjean. The pair beat Charlotte Claudel and Hanaé Antonetti of KKO, while Laura Rose Kurschat (OBC) and Charlotte Martinez (KKO) completed the podium.

In the mixed doubles, Julie Labrit won the BT 250 again, this time partnered by Willan Dolmin. Laura Rose Kurschat and Steven Reiller (FCBT) took second place, with Sophie Jeanjean and Éliam Giordano from KBT coming third.
Finally, in the men's competition (BT 500), Tom and Jules Lamort (FCBT) took the victory. Mowgli Bœuf and Kevin Vaudelle of OBC finished second, Christophe Lerasle (FCBT) and Laurent Delaval (OBC) third.
No fewer than sixteen teams were represented in the three draws, with players coming from Guadeloupe and Saint Martin.
The next Karibbean Beach Tennis tournament will be dedicated to young players. It will take place on February 28. Adults will have to wait until May 1, 2, and 3 to participate in a big beach weekend in Saint Barth.
Julie Labrit would like to thank "everyone" who helped make the tournament on January 24 and 25 possible. She mentions the volunteers, the sponsors for the prizes, the Collectivité, and, thanks to her, the Journal de Saint-Barth.
