Three matches, three victories. On Saturday May 31st, on their home ground at the Plaine des Jeux in Saint-Jean, the young Pelican's made no bones about it. The club played host to under-11, 13 and 15-year-old teams from its St. Martin counterpart, Marigot. Pascal Peuchot, the club's president, points out that the Saint-Barth players dominated their opponents with scores that were "without appeal". "The intensive training at last week's camp paid off," boasts the president, who assures us, "The coaches and players are delighted. "
This Saturday, June 8, two matches that had been postponed due to rain against the U13 and U15 teams of Phoenicks de Saint-Martin will be played in Saint-Barth. "We can't wait for the pitch to be covered so that we can welcome the Saint-Martin teams in good conditions and avoid teams having to travel for nothing," says Pascal Peuchot.
Alongside these two matches, the Pelican's club will be organizing a talent-spotting event on Saturday June 8, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on the Plaine des Jeux pitch. The event is aimed at young club members born between 2011 and 2017, with a view to joining the elite section due to open next September.
