Six runners from Saint Barthélemy made the trip to participate in the 22nd edition of the "10 km de Saint-Martin," organized on Sunday, February 8, by the Avenir Sportif Club. Among the 157 competitors at the starting line were Fanny Rassat, Richard and Serena Provost, Jean-Marie Gréaux ("Polo") and, from the 4Running St Barth club, Vincent Gaffiot and Stéphane Drapeau. This race, whose new flat, rolling course is conducive to performance over the 10km distance, has been awarded the Bronze label and is now a qualifying event for the French championships. The athletes from Saint Barth returned with three bronze medals in their category: Stéphane Drapeau (43'23), Vincent Gaffiot (51'15), and Jean-Marie Gréaux (55'22). Richard Provost crossed the line after 57'22", followed by Serena (58'58) and Fanny Rassat (59'27"). Alvin Nardin was the first to cross the finish line (30'42). The date for the 23rd edition of the Saint-Martin 10km race has already been set for February 14, 2027.
