Volunteer firefighter recruitment campaign

A new campaign to recruit volunteer firefighters has been launched by the Collectivité and the territorial fire and rescue service (Stis). All motivated individuals are therefore invited to come forward. "This civic commitment allows you to actively participate in emergency rescue missions, firefighting, and the protection of property and people, and subsequently as an operator, while balancing volunteering with your professional life or studies," emphasizes the STIS.
To become a volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old, meet the physical and medical requirements for the missions, and reside in Saint Barthélemy. Training, mutual aid, team spirit, group spirit, a sense of responsibility, and values are at the heart of this mission.
