Saint-Joseph schoolchildren run in support of Handi-Relais

On Tuesday April 15, all the pupils at Lorient's Saint-Joseph school gathered on the Ajoe plateau, sneakers on and hearts wide open, to support the Handi-Relais association. "Thanks to Mistress Géraldine's explanation, everyone understood the importance of helping people with disabilities on our island," explains school principal Laure Gaborit. Carried along by a joyful atmosphere full of enthusiasm, the children performed one lap after another with impressive motivation. Their commitment, together with the generosity of their families, raised 1,500 euros for the association. Donations were made by parents according to the number of laps completed by the children. A great success," says the headmistress. Well done to the children for their great effort and enthusiasm, to the families for their mobilization and generosity, and of course to the educational team for organizing this meaningful morning on the way to Easter.
