A conference-debate on "Ageing well

The OVE-Caraïbes association, in partnership with the Irénée de Bruyn hospital, is organizing a conference-debate on the theme of "ageing well".ageing well" on Tuesday January 6 at 6.30pm, in the presence of Dr François Sarkozy, in the main hall of Gustavia's harbour master's office. Following a working meeting held at the Irénée de Bruyn hospital with health and medical-social professionals, the aim was to find concrete territorial solutions for "aging well" on the island.aging well" on the island, it's the general public who are invited to discuss with Dr. Sarkozy, author of the book "Vieillir heureux, c'est possible", published by Leduc.

The conference-debate is open to all, and will focus on the following theme: "On the agenda: how to better prevent loss of autonomy, the role of caregivers, how to mobilize healthcare professionals, and a collective strategy for Saint-Barthélemy. A book signing of "Vieillir heureux c'est possible" is scheduled for 7:30pm. OVE-Caraïbes urges the public to take part: "This meeting is an opportunity to ask your questions, share your concerns, and contribute to an ambitious local dynamic around healthy longevity."
